Diesel Prices Drop as Gasoline and Kerosene Costs Increase

Starting Tuesday, October 6, consumers will see a decrease in diesel prices while facing hikes in gasoline and kerosene costs. Diesel prices are set to drop by P1.30 per liter, offering some relief at the pump. In contrast, gasoline prices will experience an increase of P1.90 per liter, and kerosene will rise significantly by P3.30 per liter.

This latest adjustment comes on the heels of recent price cuts made by oil companies. Last week, diesel prices were reduced by as much as P7.60 per liter, while gasoline saw a more modest decrease of up to P0.30 per liter. Kerosene prices were lowered by up to P5.90 per liter during the same period.

The fluctuation in fuel prices reflects ongoing adjustments in the global oil market, impacting local pricing strategies. The recent increases in gasoline and kerosene prices could affect various sectors, particularly those reliant on these fuels for transportation and heating.

Consumers are advised to stay informed about these changes and consider their impact on household and business budgets. As fluctuations in the oil market continue, further adjustments in fuel prices are expected in the coming weeks.
